40 - Old Bars

Welcome!

Welcome to thirty-two eleven (”3211”). This newsletter will entail: 3 Reads, 2 Rabbit Holes, 1 Watch, and 1 Listen — 3/2/1/1. Detailing what I have been up to, on the internet.

3 reads:

1 - Fanatics is slowly building a monopoly in the sports cards industry. Very interesting newsletter analyzing the legality of their moves.

2 - Old Bars = Cool Bars.

3 - Paul Graham is an English computer scientist, essayist, entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and author. He is best known for his work on the programming language Lisp, his former startup Viaweb, cofounding the influential startup accelerator and seed capital firm Y Combinator, his essays, and Hacker News. He puts out some great writing, dense but good read.

2 rabbit holes:

1 - DIY project of the week. I needed more photos in my room so made this. 50% off all photo orders currently at CVS for the coupon hunters out there.

2 - Life Changing Movie Recommendations.

1 watch:

1 - Throughout the course of Oliver White’s life fly fishing has been at the root of a series of once-in-a-lifetime events. What started as physical therapy led to the financial district, a business opportunity, and a near-death situation. His pursuit of fish on the fly now takes him to the mythical, magical country of Bhutan to do what he does best – figure things out.

1 listen:

1 - French 79 - Hometown

Cheers,
