063 - Monowi, Nebraska

Welcome!

Welcome to thirty-two eleven (”3211”). This newsletter will entail: 3 Reads, 2 Rabbit Holes, 1 Watch, and 1 Listen — 3/2/1/1. Detailing what I have been up to, on the internet.

introduction:

Happy New Year - Shout out to all my loyal followers here. Together, we can populate Monowi, Nebraska.

3 reads:

1 - I always question Taxi Driver’s navigation skills being better than Google Maps. However, I now realize the benefit.

2 - Gold or Bitcoin?

3 - We can all learn from those is Norway embracing the winter.

2 rabbit holes:

1 - Fascinating to see the AI apps used by those in the Andreessen Horowitz network.

2 - From Rambull’s post for CJ Casselli (below):

This past year has been the busiest of my life (by far). It's forced me to be hyper-productive with my time, and I've had to adopt various systems to get everything done. I ended up documenting my workflow in what I'm calling a Personal Productivity Playbook, and it distills pretty much everything on the topic down to what actually works (there is a lot of BS out there). It’s built from years of personal experiments, and it’s the only way I know how to balance the CEO role + faith, marriage, family, fitness, friends, fun, etc.

1 watch:

1 - When I told people I hadn’t seen Band of Brothers they acted like I was crazy. After watching, I now realize why that is. Recommend watching if you have not. Currently available on Netflix.

1 listen:

1 - A little throwback, Babylon - David Gray.

Cheers,
