Welcome!

Welcome to thirty-two eleven (”3211”). This newsletter will entail: 3 Reads, 2 Rabbit Holes, 1 Watch, and 1 Listen — 3/2/1/1. Detailing what I have been up to, on the internet.

3 reads:

1 - Nedd Brockmann is a 25-year-old from Australia who, at 23, became the fastest ever Australian to run across the continent. He is on to his next epic run, where he is attempting to break the world record for running 1,000 miles in 10 days. He will have to complete 403 laps of an athletics track each day.

2 - Six teams are competing in the 33rd annual Roadkill Cook-Off in Marlinton, West Virginia. There were going to be seven, but the crew planning to cook groundhog dropped out.

3 - After 6 weeks of a Scottish Rescue Team searching for Charlie Kelly in the mountains, Dan Roach and David Binks offered their prototype piloting and image analysis software, designed to help drones find missing people more effectively. After launching two drones, they found Charlie Kelly’s body within the first hour.

2 rabbit holes:

1 - In-Q-Tel is the CIA’s non-profit venture capital arm, investing in startups which would benefit the US and its allies national security.

2 - A deep dive on L-Theanine affecting sleep and cognition.

1 watch:
