Welcome!
Welcome to thirty-two eleven (”3211”). This newsletter will entail: 3 Reads, 2 Rabbit Holes, 1 Watch, and 1 Listen — 3/2/1/1. Detailing what I have been up to, on the internet.
introduction:
Traveling to Denver next week for work. Pretty excited. Enjoy.
3 reads:
1 - This New Jersey doctor is selling his $16.5m island a quarter mile off of the Florida Keys. Pretty wild property, can’t imagine what the process was like using barges to bring everything out there. Full website is below the article.
2 - Bryan Johnson is insane. He is the founder and CEO of Kernel, a company that can monitor and record brain activity, and OS Fund, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage science and technology companies. He basically made a ton of money and is now dedicating his life to anti-aging trials/technologies.
3 - Examples of people quickly accomplishing ambitious things together.
2 rabbit holes:
1 - The future of pawn shops/loans utilitizing NFTs and Crypto. How it works: send a Patek Phillipe watch (luxury watch) to an escrow company, escrow company sends back a NFT showing ownership, NFT is listed on Arcade where the borrower then finds the best loan possible using the watch as collateral, NFT is then transferred to an escrow wallet until the loan term is up or the borrower repays.
Coolest thing I saw on chain this week was a lender giving a stranger a $35,000 loan at 12% APR using a Patek Phillipe as collateral
Borrower sent the watch to an escrow company who then sent back an NFT that represents ownership of the watch
Borrower then listed the NFT on… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

2 - The 150 Most Legendary Restaurants in the World & Their Iconic Dishes.
1 watch:
1 - Another Apple TV heater. Hikack featuring Idris Elba.
1 listen:
1 - The podcast How to Take Over the World by Ben Wilson is awesome. The My First Million podcast hired him as their editor from this podcast growing so big. This episode is diving into Leonardo Da Vinci from birth to being who he is known as today.
Cheers,
